Connecting to a Classroom Projector, Wireless
Classroom projectors may be connected to wirelessly quickly, easily, and by any Mac user. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Turn on the projector or television and make sure the input source is set to the AppleTV (generally HDMI 1 or 2). You should see the AppleTV display screen which includes the name of the room in which you are located.
- Make sure you are connected to a Hotchkiss wireless network and bluetooth is turned on
- Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar, then click Screen Mirroring
- Choose the name of the AppleTV that matches the name of the room or device to which you wish to connect
- Enter the AirPlay code that will be displayed on the projector or television screen to pair your device
- When you are done, be sure to disconnect by clicking the Control Center icon in the menu bar, then clicking Screen Mirroring
Note: Windows computers cannot connect wirelessly, however, most rooms with projectors/tv's are provided an HDMI cable and usb-c adapter for a physical connection.
