Using an Owl Camera

Owl Labs Meeting Owl Cameras can be made available upon request. These units can serve as a 360° camera, microphone and speaker for online/hybrid meetings and other functions. This resource is compatible with Mac and Windows computers.

Meeting Owl Cameras are supplied with

the camera unit, attached to a tripod
a power supply
a USB-A cable
a USB-A to USB-C adapter

To use the Meeting Owl Camera, follow the steps below:

Make sure your Owl is plugged into a power source and connected to your computer. When the Owl’s eyes stop pulsing and you hear a “hoot,” your Owl is ready to use
Launch the software to be used, such as Zoom, Google Meet, Skype for Business, Cisco Webex, etc. Depending on the software, you may need to manually set your camera/microphone/speaker to "Meeting Owl"
